About Josh
UX/UI designer and experienced leader with 10+ years of leadership in high-impact, fast-paced environments, bringing a unique foundation in communication, strategy, and team development.
My journey into UX/UI began through hands-on experience leading digital and creative initiatives, where I developed a passion for designing intuitive, user-centered experiences. This led me to pursue formal training, earning a UX/UI certificate from the University of Texas, where I finished in the top 10 of my class.
Since then, I have applied UX/UI principles within my role at ARISE, contributing to digital experience strategy and execution. I now seek to transition into a full-time UX/UI role, leveraging my leadership background, systems thinking, and design expertise to create impactful, scalable user experiences.

In my post-graduate studies, I received hands-on training in key tools and methodologies essential to UX/UI design. This immersive, strategic program equipped me to operate as a proficient full-stack designer, blending visual design, user research, and front-end thinking. Finishing in the top three of my cohort reflects my ability to adapt quickly, master new tools, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving design landscape.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Ministry and Leadership, where I learned how to engage people through clear vision, shared goals, and empathetic communication. This foundation in strategic leadership empowered me to lead teams of 200+ and deliver messages with clarity and purpose—skills that directly translate to aligning users, stakeholders, and teams around intuitive, human-centered design solutions.
