End-to-End UX/UI
Case Study: Planit

I led the end-to-end UX/UI design and development of Planit, a leisure activity platform tailored for working professionals, leveraging advanced AI-driven personalization to enhance discovery and decision-making. This was a full-cycle product design project, grounded in a user-centered design approach.

The process began with foundational user research, including surveys and insight synthesis, which informed the creation of user personas, empathy maps, and defined pain points. From there, I conducted a comprehensive competitive audit and heuristic analysis to identify gaps in the current market and uncover opportunities for innovation.

Building on these insights, I mapped out end-to-end user flows and information architecture, ensuring a seamless and intuitive navigation experience. I then translated these flows into low-fidelity wireframes to rapidly iterate on layout and functionality, followed by high-fidelity prototypes that incorporated visual design systems, interaction patterns, and micro-interactions aligned with modern UX/UI standards.

User Research

The foundation of Planit was built through a robust user research and discovery phase, ensuring every design decision was rooted in real user needs. I led the synthesis of survey data and behavioral insights to identify key pain points around time constraints, decision fatigue, and fragmented event discovery. From this, I developed detailed user personas and empathy maps that highlighted motivations, frustrations, and goals—particularly for working professionals seeking meaningful experiences with limited time. These artifacts informed a clear problem definition and helped align the product vision around creating a more intuitive, personalized, and efficient discovery experience.

UX Analysis

Building on these insights, I conducted a comprehensive competitive audit and UX analysis across platforms like Meetup, Eventbrite, and Nudge, evaluating navigation patterns, filtering systems, content structure, and overall usability through a heuristic lens. In parallel, I translated these findings into low-fidelity wireframes, rapidly iterating on layout, hierarchy, and user flows to validate core functionality and reduce friction early in the design process. This phase allowed for quick testing of ideas, alignment on information architecture, and ensured that the product direction was both user-informed and strategically differentiated from competitors.

High-Fidelity UI & Interaction Design

With a strong foundation in place, I developed high-fidelity prototypes that brought Planit to life through a polished, production-ready experience. This included building a cohesive design system, refining interaction patterns, and implementing thoughtful micro-interactions to enhance usability. The result is a clean, intuitive interface that streamlines discovery while delivering a modern, engaging user experience.
