UX/UI Redesign & Systems Integration: Arise Church
The ARISE Church website redesign was a full-scale digital transformation focused on improving usability, clarity, and brand alignment. The previous site had inconsistent UI/UX, unclear navigation, outdated content, and no integrations, creating friction for both users and staff. Through stakeholder and user interviews, I identified key pain points and led a redesign that simplified navigation, restructured content, and aligned the interface with the ARISE brand. I also introduced integrations to improve accuracy and scalability, resulting in a more intuitive experience and measurable growth in engagement and performance.

The Problem
The previous ARISE Church website had inconsistent UI/UX across the platform and did not accurately represent the brand. Navigation was unclear, content was outdated, and there were no meaningful integrations in place. This created friction for users trying to find information and added unnecessary manual work for staff.
Through stakeholder and user interviews, consistent pain points surfaced around navigation confusion, lack of trust in information, and unclear next steps for engagement.
The Approach
I led a discovery process through stakeholder conversations and user interviews to identify key frustrations and define what a better experience needed to accomplish. From there, I reworked the information architecture to create clearer user flows and more intuitive navigation.
The redesign focused on aligning the interface with the ARISE brand while simplifying how users access key information like service times, events, and next steps. I also introduced integrations to connect core systems, allowing content to stay more accurate and reducing backend friction for the team.
The Solution
The final product was a streamlined, user-centered experience with improved structure, clearer navigation, and a more cohesive visual identity. Content was reorganized to prioritize clarity and action, while the interface was designed to feel modern, engaging, and aligned with the in-person experience.
On the backend, integrations created a more sustainable system, making it easier to manage and update content moving forward.
The Results
The redesign led to clear and measurable growth across the platform. From the initial November baseline, total users increased to 2,338 (+229.8%), while organic users grew to 1,352 (+235.5%), showing a significant lift in both reach and discoverability. Search visibility also improved, with total impressions reaching 9,324 (+100%), reflecting stronger SEO performance and better content alignment.
User interaction also improved across the experience, with 17K total events (+29.5%), indicating stronger engagement and clearer user pathways. Overall, the redesign not only increased traffic but created a more intuitive experience and a digital presence that better reflects the ARISE brand.
