Project-Centric Case Study

This project focused on reimagining the Penny Juice website through a strategic UX/UI lens, beginning with a comprehensive audit of its navigation, content structure, accessibility, and overall user flow to identify key friction points and high-impact areas for improvement. These insights were reinforced through a competitive analysis of leading industry websites, where user reviews and interaction patterns revealed consistent UX/UI standards that drive engagement, clarity, and usability.

 

Leveraging both the audit findings and competitive insights, I developed a refined information architecture and translated it into wireframes designed to create a more intuitive, accessible, and cohesive experience. This improved user flow, strengthened brand consistency, and guided users through clear, intentional calls to action.

Website Analysis

I conducted a comprehensive UX/UI audit of the Penny Juice website, evaluating navigation structure, content hierarchy, accessibility, and overall user flow. Through heuristic analysis and user-first evaluation, I identified key friction points including unclear navigation paths, inconsistent information architecture, and a lack of intuitive user guidance. These findings highlighted critical needs around improved usability, clearer pathways to conversion, and a more structured content experience to better support user decision-making.

Competitor Analysis

I performed a competitive analysis by identifying Penny Juice’s top three competitors and analyzing their digital experiences through user reviews, feature comparisons, and full website audits. By studying real user feedback alongside interaction patterns, I uncovered consistent UX/UI standards across high-performing competitors, including streamlined navigation, strong visual hierarchy, and clear calls to action. These insights revealed how effective design systems and user-centered interactions directly contribute to improved engagement and usability.

IA + Wireframes

Building on both the initial website audit and competitive insights, I developed a revised information architecture to support a more intuitive and scalable user experience. This IA guided the creation of initial wireframes focused on improving user flow, accessibility, and brand consistency across the platform. The proposed structure introduced clearer navigation, more intentional content grouping, and strategically placed calls to action, all designed to enhance usability and drive more effective user engagement.
